Architectures, Protocols and Subsystems for Networks and Services Lab

Architectures, Protocols and Subsystems for Networks and Services Lab (APSNS) is a research and design laboratory, affiliated to the UPB research center CAMPUS. Its focus is on developing advanced architectures, algorithms, protocols and various hardware/software subsystems for current and future integrated communication networks (broadband, fixed/mobile) and application/services. APSNS includes currently 17 faculty members external collaborators and researchers (post-doc) and PhD students). The specific team lists are adjusted for each project/task. APSNS members have been involved long time and still are, in a series of successful IST/ICT European research projects, such as: IST FP5 MOICANE project (2001 - 2002) , IST FP6: EuroNGI Network of Excellence (2003 - 2006),, ENTHRONE IP (2003 - 2005) , ATHENA STREP IP project IST FP6-507312 (2006 - 2007) , WEIRD IP (2006 - 2008) , Euro Future Generation Internet (2006 - 2008) , ENTHRONE II IP , IST-FP7 - SMART-net (2008 - 2011) , ALICANTE IP No. 248652 (2010 - 2013) , Chist-ERA DISEDAN (2014 - 2015), as well as in numerous national research and development projects.
