Clean Combustion Laboratory is a research lab within the UPB research center CAMPUS. It develops hydrothermal processes with the aim of producing alternative fuels (biofuels) and/or other valuable products (biosolvents, biobinders etc.) from wet biomass and wastes. The existing infrastructure offers the possibility of analyzing gaseous compounds released during the thermochemical processes. The laboratory staff ensures interdisciplinary approaches needed to develop complex near-critical and supercritical HTL processes and was involved in several national and international research grants.
