Electrical Energy Conversion Technologies, Renewable Energy Sources and Impact on Environment and Population Lab

The Electrical Energy Conversion Technologies, Renewable Energy Sources and Impact on Environment And Population Lab is a research laboratory at the UPB research center CAMPUS. Mainly its activity is focused on designing, developing and implementing software and hardware solutions for life sciences and automotive systems including: automatic detection of biomedical parameters (heart rate, respiratory rate, signal morphology, fetal heart rate, fetal movements, arrhythmias etc) from biosignals, brain – computer interfaces (BCI), artificial intelligence for biomedical applications, design of biosignal acquisition systems, biomedical information technology. The research laboratory is currently composed of 5 academic members and several PhD and master students and has strong (inter)national collaborations with specialists from different hospitals. The team was involved in several national and international research grants and strategic programs funded by the European Structural Funds and authored more than 300 scientific publication in journals and top conferences with high impact.
