Laboratory for Analysis and Certification of Fuels is a research lab within the UPB research center CAMPUS. It develops analysis and control methods for thermochemical processes (pyrolysis, gasification, combustion, hydrothermal liquefaction, solvolysis etc.). The existing infrastructure allows also the analysis of organic compounds of interest in other fields such as environment, food and safety, pharmaceuticals etc. The team members offer expertise in developing analysis methods adapted to particular fuel-like products obtained through applied thermochemical processes. Solid experimental experience in developing integrated processes for organic waste valorisation using cascading technologies within the concept of circular economy.
