Multimedia Lab is a research lab within the UPB research center CAMPUS. It develops advanced algorithms and systems for the broad range of multimedia applications, from multimedia content processing for understanding, multimedia content-based information retrieval, image/video processing and analysis, machine learning for multimedia, intelligent multimedia video surveillance applications, management of multimedia collections and multimedia and vision. Multimedia Content Processing and Analysis Lab staff, composed of 8 faculty members and researchers (post-doc and PhD students), was involved in several national research grants and strategic programmes funded under European Structural Funds. They are authors for more than 130 scientific publications in high ranked journals and top conferences from the field.
